The good news is this: I'm done teaching for the summer on MONDAY. The bad news is that teaching doesn't just end, you have to do all this craptastic grading. Blah. Anyways, I'll be a better updater then. I took a vacation day tomorrow; want to know what I'm doing on my vaca day? Grading. I don't really want to talk about it. Anyways, here's the status of goals:
(4) Take a swim class with Brades: In progress as we speak.
Fact: Swimming is astonishing.
(8) Start an actual garden. That grows things: Check this action:
The bad news is, it's in my bedroom right now. Which looks sort of suspicious. As my sister said, "Woah. Have you got a grow operation going on in here?"
Maybe I do.
(10) Take a college class for fun: Signed up for a class in the fall! Subject: I don't remember, but it has something to do with religion, because I'm constantly trying to point out religious references in stories to my students, but I'm mostly talking out of my.. because I know nothing about religious references.
(28) Make a big deal out of the holidays. All of them. Well, I DID color Easter eggs with Brade, hide them, get him an Easter basket, and have people over for dinner.
Do you have any idea how vehemently this child was stirring those eggs? Let me tell you, there were MANY egg casualties...
My point? WHY ARE YOU BUGGING ME ABOUT MY GOALS?!!? I'm ON IT. Geez.
Sierra is so sweet with Brady! Also, what about the doing something fun every week goal? For the most part you've been accomplishing that one.
