I really hope you are with someone else and not one of those "we use the same side of the booth" people. They just freak me out. Congrats btw!

About Me

I was reading this blog about blogging (very meta) and it said "your blog will be successful if you write about something you're truly good at". I'm really, really good at embarrassing myself. I'm also turning 30 this year, so I made up 30 goals to accomplish in my 30th year, which means 30 more opportunities for things to go horribly, horribly wrong. Hopefully this will distract me from the fact that I'm 30.

Major true life characters you should know about:

Sara: Sara's like my oldest friend. I mean, she actually is my oldest friend. Most of our conversations start like this:
Lola, I think I'm dying of (insert rare disease)
No you're not, Sara
Oh. Good.

The Ts (Jen and Ryan):
The Ts are the nicest people you'll ever meet. But they won't lie to you. Ever.
Example:
Me: Ryan, I got a tattoo.
Ryan: That's nice, Lola. Now let's find some jewelry that will cover it up.

The Ks, Ds and Ps: They're my friends too.

B
B is my main man. He's a 2 1/2 year old toddler evil genius.

Erin:
Erin is my sister. She's a cop. She's a lot like the Ts, minus the super nice part. I'm not saying she's mean. I'm saying she'll tell you what she thinks.
Example:
Me: Erin, I accidentally left the Christmas tree lights on. What if my house burns down?
Erin: Are you kidding me? Your house burning down would be the best thing that ever happened to that place.
She claims I'm "zany".

Danny and Scott: are awesome. Danny's sarcastic. Scott likes electric blankets.

Gordy: Gordy's my dad. He likes Toni Braxton.
