Goal #11 Expand my real (money-making) website.
About that. I'm changing goal #11. Here's the thing... I'm getting sort of... bored with that. I spend at least 2 hours a week doing the Meijer Matchups, and another hour doing the This Week calendar. Then, on top of that, the daily posts. Then, on top of that, the three classes I'm teaching. Then, on top of that, the part-time job I have. It would be one thing if I was making a little money off of the deal. But, when you factor in the $10/mo. I pay for hosting, I think I might actually be losing money. And so I'm thinking of shutting it down. I'll probably keep the Facebook page and post good deals on it from time to time, but that's about it.
So I'm going to need a new goal. And that goal is....
#11: Watch 10 Iconic 80s Movies that I Haven't Seen
1. Fast Times at Ridgemont High
2. Pretty in Pink done!
3. Sixteen Candles
4. Say Anything (I vaguely remember seeing parts of this, but not the entire thing..)
5. Heathers done....horrible.
6. Top Gun (Again, vaguely remember seeing some of it, but not really. I remember thinking "This is complete crap".)
7. Who's That Girl (Madonna movie! Wanted to see it sooooo bad when I was... 6)
8. When Harry Met Sally
9. Ordinary People
10. Other Movie I Haven't Decided On Yet. Possibly "Born on the Fourth of July". Definitely not "Full Metal Jacket" or anything that even remotely involves Woody Allen.
I figure this will be fun, because they'll almost certainly be ridiculous, and there's nothing I love more than talking about how ridiculous things are.
I'll be sad to see lolalou go... :( but ya gotta do whatchu gotta do. That said: I strongly nominate either a) Real Genius or b) Top Secret and I volunteer to watch either of those, Top Gun, and Say Anything with you. As a marathon. Drinking Jolt. and eating Cheetos.
